Who remembers the old style carpet beater in that vaguely Celtic knot shape? None of you, you're all too young, but we remember, and this is our heartfelt homage to that homely device.

Why Josephine? Because that's how the knot is known in polite seafaring circles. If such things exist.
This particular incarnation of Josephine consists of three twists of five mm lace forming the head. As you can see, this is a very attractive metallic burgundy colour, for a bit of contrast against the black. The handle, as ever, is the lovely French Grapevine braid that all your friends will coo and gurgle over.

This is absolutely a must have for anyone looking to diversify their impact gear collection; the craftsmanship is superb, it certainly leaves an impression.rnrn;)
