Handcrafting Lead Times and Order Dispatching
All Sinvention branded items are handmade here in our highly specialized leather studios here in Stratford, Ontario Canada. We are a very in demand micro-fetish team hand making gear to satisfy clients worldwide.
Generally all items are made as per order, first come first serve. We do have a small rotating selection of in stock goods, and those in stock items will be clearly identified in the first line of the product description. If there is no in-stock notice listed please refer to the production lead times posted at the bottom of the product description.
Please note that those lead times are a general approximation only. We usually have longer lead times during our busy season (November thru March) and orders can take up to 8+ weeks to handcraft simply due to our high volume. Please note that some items such as our Hood have longer lead times posted. Please take of the lead times prior to placing your order.
Rush orders may be possible at certain times of the year, please use the product inquiry form or send an email to ask if it is possible. A rush order fee will apply.
If you need an order by a specific date, please inquire before placing your order to ensure your needs can be met.
Small orders may be in stock and those products typically ship within 48-72 hrs hours.
You will receive an Order Confirmation email once your order is received. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.

Processed: Order has be received and payment is being verified
Payment Received: Payment has been verified
In Production: Order is now moving to be in cue to be hand made for you . You will receive an email when the order goes into production, it will remain "In Production" until the order is complete and this may take several weeks, depending on items ordered and time of year. Please refer to production lead time posted in product description.
Shipped: Once the order is dispatched we will update status to shipped and forward you your tracking information
Shipping MethodsCoS ships very discretely in a plain box, always. Our return address will show as: from WLC or Ware Leather Corporation and we use generic terms for customs declarations.
We do our best to offer economical shipping options, we apply our volume discounts to shipping dues and only charge actual shipping dues with no handling fees.
We use Canada Post / UPS / and DHL for Shipping and you may read a general overview of the shipping methods here:
All orders exceeding $200 CAD (sub total pre-tax) are shipped for FREE within Canada via Canada Post.
The Church of Sinvention uses Canada Post Expedited Parcel method for FREE shipments. These "Free Shipping" parcels are fully insured up to $1000 CAD and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide weekend delivery. Church of Sinvention and/or Canada Post have no control over delays due to Customs and clearing.
Canadian orders that do not exceed $200 (sub total
pre-tax) qualify for $10 flat rate shipping via Expedited Parcel. These "Flat Rate" parcels are fully insured up to
$1000 CAD and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be
sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account
directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch.

Orders with high dollar values exceeding $1000 CAD will be shipped via UPS Ground.

International shipments do not qualify for "Free Shipping" it is listed as TBD (To Be Determined). Each order is calculated individually based on the packed box weight/size of parcel and destination. Once your order is packed and ready to go we will contact you with your shipping options and rates. We will then send you a Paypal request for the shipping dues. Once paid we will ship out.
For international shipments we use Canada Post / UPS / DHL. We apply our volume discounts to the various rates to help you save. On average international shipping rates range from $25 - $100 CAD depending on weight/volume and value of order. All parcels are fully insured and feature online tracking.
We can send to Postal box using Canada Post only.
We export to the USA and Internationally regularly. To ensure the end users' privacy we always use the most generic export declarations possible. For instance on our Sinvention Leather products we ship under the Harmonized Tax code for "Custom Leather Accessory - Other" and that is how leather items will be itemized and declared. Other products are declared are on an individual basis. If you have specific concerns regarding the customs declarations and it's wording please contact us directly using the contact form.
Any shipment delays due to Importing Customs of the destination country are not the responsibility of ChurchofSinvention or Canada Post, these are beyond our control. Please note that delays are more frequent during high volume seasons such as Christmas. If your order is time sensitive please note that a Customs delay is possible and you should allow a few extra days travel time to avoid any disappointment.
All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record)
Any other customs issues will be the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record). If you have questions regarding importing into your country - please direct them to your local Customs office. Each country is different.
Tracking numbers are emailed directly to you from Canada Post /UPS / DHL.

We may be able to help if you are trying to track a lost order that has a tracking number,
please contact our Customer Service department and allow 72 hours so
that we can contact the carrier and begin a trace investigation.
To meet our online customers' expectations for quick delivery, orders for in-stock products are processed as quickly as possible and therefore you will need to contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 519-273-3737 and speak to a representative to ensure you item has not already been shipped.
All Sinvention branded items are made by hand as per order. If you wish to cancel your order please do so within 48 hours. If it is past 48 hours please send us an email to see where your order is at. If the items have been made and you still wish to cancel there is a 15% re-stocking fee that will be charged. If your product has shipped you will need to refer to our Returns Policy for how that issue is handled.
Sinvention will repair or replace any Sinvention made item free of charge under the following circumstances:
If the item has failed under normal usage. Normal usage is determined by us at the time you contact us for an RMA number or when we receive the item back at our studio. We will not cover any item that has been abused or misused. Normal "wear and tear" is not covered by this warranty. Shipping costs are not covered by this warranty and are your responsibility.
If a Church of Sinvention product is found to be defective within 30 days of the invoice date, CoS will provide a warranty replacement unit at no charge. CoS may request that you return the defective unit for quality assurance testing.

Cancellation and Returns Policy
To ensure the safety and health of our customers, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that comes into contact with any bodily fluid. Once these items leave The Church, we consider them to be used and non-returnable. Due to the nature of Silicone Dildos, Ball and Phallic Gags, Floggers or Paddles, Custom and Made-to-Measure products, all sales of these items will be considered final. Please check sizes or other requirements carefully when ordering.
You can cancel your order within 48 hours after we have received it provided the order has not already shipped. You can return new, unused, unopened items within 10 days. Items should be returned unused in their original packaging with all tags attached. A store credit will be issued minus all processing fees and shipping\handling charges. Shipping fees deducted from a store credit include any initial "free shipping fees or the balance of reduced shipping rates" incurred by The Church. These "free or reduced" shipping fees should be outlined on your receipt. Any store credit will be issued once the product is received at our studio and has been inspected for use and damage. If the item has been used or damaged in any way we reserve the right to NOT issue the store credit and only ship the product back to you at your expense including an extra handling fee. "Use of the product" includes but is not limited to bent or creased top straps caused by the opening of any strap from any buckle or closure on the item. A store credit will be issued on items returned in unused and new condition for any other reason within 10 days.
We do not issue cash, check, or credit card refunds - store credit only.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required.
To request an RMA, email Customer Service firstname.lastname@example.org or dial 519-273-3737 and speak to Customer Service.
RMA must be requested within 10 days of the invoice date.
Products must be shipped in the original manufacturer's box and include all tags, etc.
RMA number must be written clearly on the package.Returns must be shipped via Canada Post, USPS, UPS®, FedEx® or another traceable service.
All return shipping must be paid by the customer, and tracking information should be emailed to email@example.com .
RMAs are valid for 10 days only. Products received after this period may be refused.
Store credit, if applicable, will be issued within 7-10 business days of complete receipt of shipment. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your store credit.
