Shipping, Ordering and Returns

How to Place a New Order

- Log In: enter your email address and password.
- Repeat customers will be recognized and their Address Book displayed. New customers will be emailed a Password after completing the form.
   (If you do not see an email please check your junk/spam folders).
- Select the product you want to order and click the Buy button.
- This opens a new Cart. If you want to increase the quantity, enter the new quantity and select Update Quantity.
- Select Continue Shopping to return to the Products section and add another product to your Cart.
- If you need to delete a product, select Clear Basket and click on Products to return to store.
- Click Checkout to finalize order. Select a Shipment Method and enter information for Payment Method.
- Click Confirm My Order to view invoice and check order information.
- Select Change Order Information to change Shipment Method, Ship To, Bill To, or Payment Method.
- If information is correct, click Complete My Order. Print your receipt and save for future reference.
- Log Out

Coupon Code

- When you've finished shopping click the "check out" button.
- Create a new account or login to your existing account (if you have not done so already).
- If you are using a coupon, enter the coupon code.
- Provide your billing and shipping addresses and click "continue".
- Select shipping method and payment information.
- Verify your coupon was applied on the Checkout Confirmation page.
- Submit your order and enjoy your savings!

Payment Methods

Sinvention offers the most secure method of ordering online. Simply shop as you would normally, filling your shopping cart then checking out. When prompted to choose your payment method, choose one of the following:

- Credit Cards MasterCard®,Visa® and American Express® via Moneris online eSelect Plus secure Canadian payment processing services

- Paypal: MasterCard®,Visa® and American Express®. via the Paypal secure servers and services. You can also use your banks Debit Card to purchase by having a Paypal account. Safe, secure and easy!

- Email Money Transfer: For Canadian wholesale customers only, locate the total amount due in the shopping cart and send the email money transfer from your online bank account to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  Please be sure to include your order number in the comments section of the transfer.

- Money Order/Western Union:  Upon checkout you will be given your total and an order number. Then go get your "International Money Order" from your Post Office and mail it to us.  All funds must be in Canadian dollars and we only accept certified International Money Orders. Please allow time for your funds to clear once we receive your MO.

Order Dispatching and Time Lines

All Sinvention brand items are handmade as per order, first come first serve, here in our studios here in Stratford, Ontario Canada. 

We are a busy, highly specialized studio that custom crafts all of our Sinvention brand leather products.  The availability of in-stock goods is always changing. Please refer to the individual product listing for posted lead times.  The premium labour intensive items do take longer to handcraft and are clearly marked in the product description, lead times on these items are upto 6-8 weeks. Rush orders may be possible, just ask.  

If you need an order by a specific date, please inquire before placing your order to ensure your needs can be met.  Small orders may be in stock and those products typically ship within 48-72 hrs hours. Larger, multi-item or Not In Stock orders may require additional time for processing. If you would like us to split your shipment up and send the premium peices seperately rather than waiting for your complete order please make a note upon check out. For multi-items, large or Not In Stock orders, we will notify you via email with an expected dispatch date.

Shipping Methods

Sinvention ships all parcels via a method that features a tracking number and is fully insured.

CoS ships very discretely in a plain box, always. The parcel will be non-descript (with the exception of customs declarations required by law) and it will be sent from WLC or Ware Leather Corporation. We do our best to offer economical shipping options and only charge actual shipping dues with no handling fees.  We use Canada Post, UPS and DHL for shipping parcels.

Canada and U.S.A. Shipments: 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE FORCED TO USE ALTERNATE SHIPPING METHODS DUE TO THE PENDING CANADA POST STRIKE NEXT WEEK (JULY 2, 2016) CANADA POST HAS ADVISED US TO USE ALTERNATE COURIERS AS OF JUNE 23, 2016  SO THAT ORDERS DO NOT GET STUCK IN THEIR SYSTEM.  UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE NO CANADA POST SHIPPING IS AVAILABE

All orders exceeding $200 CAD (sub total pre-tax) are shipped for FREE within Canada and the USA.

The Church of Sinvention uses Canada Post Expedited Parcel method for FREE shipments.  These "Free Shipping" parcels are fully insured up to $1000 CAD and include a tracking number. The tracking number will be sent to the email address attached to your Church of Sinvention account directly from Canada Post upon parcel dispatch. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide weekend delivery.  Church of Sinvention and/or Canada Post have no control over delays due to Customs and clearing.

All USA and Canadian orders that do not exceed $200 (sub total pre-tax) qualify for $10 flat rate shipping via Expedited Parcel to Canada and the USA.

AS OF JUNE 23  WE WILL SHIP WITH EITHER DHL for the USA and/or UPS (for USA & Canada) and there is NO P.O. Delivery Available - we require a physical address

For orders within Canada that are above $1000 CAD value we will ship via UPS Standard.

For orders destined for the USA above $1000 CAD value we will ship via DHL couriers or UPS Standard.  With DHL there is a brokerage fee due on delivery that is based on the declared value of the contents.  It is billed at a rate of $10 flat fee or 2.5% of value of goods, which ever is greater.

There is no brokerage fee for orders valued at $800 USD or less, For orders $800-$1250 USD the brokerage fee is $27.50 USD, For orders $1251-$2500 USD the brokerage fee is $39.00 USD, Rates do not include applicable taxes.

Upon parcel dispatch you will receive an email from us indiacting that your parcel has shipped along with a tracking number.  You will also receive a tracking number emailed directly to you from the shipping company.

International Shipments:

International shipments do not qualify for "Free Shipping".  Each order is calculated individually based on the packed box weight/size of parcel and destination.  Upon Check Out the shipping field will propogate "TBD" (to be determined).

Once your order is packed and ready to go we will contact you with your shipping options.  Please let us know what method you prefer and we will send over a Paypal request or charge shippings dues to the credit card you have provided.

We generally use Xpresspost or our preferred courier DHL or UPS for overseas shipments as they are very economical and fast. With DHL most oversees destinations land within 2-4 business delivery days!  Please note that with DHL there is a brokerage fee due on delivery that is based on the declared value of the contents.  It is billed at a rate of $10 flat fee or 2.5% of value of goods, which ever is greater.  There is no brokerage fee with UPS, the only costs would be government fees and/or disbursements the same as DHL.

Customs Declarations and Taxes

We export to the USA and Internationally regularly.  To ensure the end users' privacy we always use the most generic export delcarations possible.  For instance on our Sinvention Leather products we ship under the Harmonized Tax code for "Custom Leather Accessory - Other" and that is how leather items will be itemized and declared.  Other products are declared are on an individual basis. If you have specific concerns regarding the customs declarartions and it's wording please contact us directly using the contact form.

Any shipment delays due to Importing Customs of the destination country are not the responsibility of Sinvention or Canada Post/ alternate couriers, these are beyond our control.   Please note that delays are more frequent during high volume seasons such as Christmas.  If your order is time sensitive please note that a Customs delay is possible and you should allow a few extra days travel time to avoid any disappointment.

All importing taxes, fees, and duties are the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record)

Any other customs issues will be the responsibility of the addressee of the item (importer of record).  If you have questions regarding importing into your country - please direct them to your local Customs office.  Each country is different.

Shipment Tracking

Tracking numbers are emailed directly to you from the shipper (Canada Post, UPS, or DHL) to the email address associated with your Sinvention account.

We may be able to help if you are trying to track a lost order that has a tracking number, please contact our Customer Service department and allow 72 hours so that we can contact the carrier and begin a trace investigation.

Lifetime Warranty Policy

Sinvention will repair or replace any Sinvention made item free of charge under the following circumstances:
- If the item has failed due to a manufacturing defect.
- If the item has failed under normal usage*
*Normal usage is determined by us at the time you contact us for an RMA number or when we receive the item back at our studio. We will not cover any item that has been abused or misused.  Please contact us via email This email address is being protected from spambots. - Normal "wear and tear" is not covered by this warranty.

Order Cancellation

To meet our online customers' expectations for quick delivery, orders for in-stock products are processed as quickly as possible and therefore you will need to contact Customer Service at This email address is being protected from spambots. You can cancel your order within 48 hours after we have received it (provided the order has not already shipped).

Please note that an in-store credit will be issued, no refunds.

Custom orders that are underway cannot be cancelled. 

If your product has shipped you will need to refer to our Returns Policy for how that issue is handled (see below).

Warranty Policy

Sinvention will repair or replace any Sinvention made item free of charge under the following circumstances:

Replacement Units

If a Church of Sinvention product is found to be defective within 30 days of the invoice date, CoS will provide a warranty replacement unit at no charge. CoS may request that you return the defective unit for quality assurance testing.

Cancellation and Returns Policy

To ensure the safety and health of our customers, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items that can constitute a health risk or any item that comes into contact with any bodily fluid.  Once these items leave The Church, we consider them to be used and non-returnable. Due to the nature of Silicone Dildos, Ball and Phallic Gags, Floggers or Paddles, Custom and Made-to-Measure products, all sales of these items will be considered final. Please check sizes or other requirements carefully when ordering.

You can cancel your order within 48 hours after we have received it provided the order has not already shipped. Please note that an in-store credit will be issued, no refunds.

You can return new, unused, unopened items within 30 days. Items should be returned unused in their original packaging with all tags attached. A store credit will be issued minus all processing fees and shipping\handling charges. Shipping fees deducted from a store credit include any initial "free shipping fees or the balance of reduced shipping rates" incurred by The Church. These "free or reduced" shipping fees should be outlined on your receipt.  Any store credit will be issued once the product is received at our studio and has been inspected for use and damage. If the item has been used or damaged in any way we reserve the right to NOT issue the store credit and only ship the product back to you at your expense including an extra handling fee. "Use of the product" includes but is not limited to bent or creased top straps caused by the opening of any strap from any buckle or closure on the item. 

A store credit will be issued on items returned in unused and new condition for any other reason within 30 days.  We do not issue cash, check, or credit card refunds.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required.

To request an RMA, email Customer Service or dial 519-273-3737 and speak to Customer Service.

RMA must be requested within 10 days of the invoice date.

Products must be shipped in the original manufacturer's box and include all tags, etc.

RMA number must be written clearly on the package.Returns must be shipped via Canada Post, USPS, UPS®, FedEx® or another traceable service.

All return shipping must be paid by the customer, and tracking information should be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

RMAs are valid for 10 days only. Products received after this period may be refused.

Store credit, if applicable, will be issued within 7-10 business days of complete receipt of shipment. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your store credit.

There are no returns on custom orders
